The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at RVITM, Bengaluru, is committed to developing industry-ready engineers equipped with expertise in electronics design, communication systems, embedded technologies, VLSI, IoT and next-generation digital systems.

Located in South Bengaluru, RVITM offers a strong academic ecosystem, backed by modern laboratories, experienced faculty, and a structured curriculum, and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

With an intake of 60 students, the department is committed to educating and empowering future engineers to create a smarter and more sustainable world. The department is equipped with the requisite infrastructure, modern laboratories, advanced computing facilities, Smart classrooms and high-speed internet access, which collectively provide an excellent learning environment.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is a dynamic field that powers modern technologies—from Wireless communication and Embedded Systems to VLSI design, IoT, Robotics and Artificial intelligence.

Our department strives to provide a strong foundation in core areas such as Analogue and Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, Image & Speech Processing. IOT & Microcontrollers, Communication Systems and VLSI Technology. With well-equipped laboratories, experienced faculty members, and a research-oriented environment, we ensure that our students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.

We encourage students to participate in conferences, technical workshops, hackathons, internships, research projects, industry collaborations, and professional bodies to enhance their skills and employability. Our goal is to nurture innovative thinkers, responsible engineers, and ethical professionals who can contribute meaningfully to society and technological advancement.
