The Mathematical Computing Club successfully conducted National Mathematics Day on 22 December 2025, celebrating the beauty and importance of mathematics through engaging and interactive activities.The event featured exciting competitions such as Maths Puzzle, Math Bingo, and Treasure Hunt, encouraging students to think logically, collaborate, and enjoy mathematics beyond the classroom.

The Technical Quiz for RVITM students took place online from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with supervision by faculty coordinators. Approximately 98 students participated, and the quiz was evaluated by the coordinators on the same day. Later, the NDLI club released a list of students who scored above 90%.

The number of participants for the technical quiz is around 131 students and ends at 04:30 pm. The evaluation part of the technical quiz was taken care by the faculty coordinators on the same day. The NDLI club released the list of students scored more than 90%

SERB funded one day workshop on Advanced Materials - Characterization and Electrochemical Applications

The workshop focused on the introduction to the design and development of new hybrid and functional nanoscale and quantum materials aimed at cleaner and more sustainable energy alternatives. Detailed sessions were organized on the characterization of advanced materials, providing participants with comprehensive insights into modern analytical techniques. Fundamental aspects of key electrochemical methods were also discussed to enhance understanding of the applications of advanced materials in sensing technologies and energy systems.

Technical Aptitude Test

A technical aptitude test for RVITM students was organised by department of mathematics in association with NDLI club, RVITM. The test was conducted for a duration of 60 minutes. The main content of test included question related to logical reasoning, quantitative and qualitative analysis and other mathematics related concepts. These questions were framed in view point of aptitude round of placement training process. The test enables students to develop basic skills to prepare for aptitude test round of placement training process. Students showed enthusiastic participation in writing test.

She had discussed about predictive models, analysis of data, designing of model by taking simple data and mathematics involved in all the analysis. She had explained all these concepts very well with practical applications. It was overall an interesting, informative and interactive session. Students interacted well during the session.
