The Department of Mechanical Engineering at RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM), Bengaluru, has been a cornerstone of excellence in Engineering Education and Research since its inception in 2019. With a strong foundation in fundamental principles and a forward-looking approach towards emerging technologies, the department continues to nurture competent, innovative, and socially responsible engineers.
Our teaching is designed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical exposure through industry collaborations, internships, and multi-disciplinary projects as per the VTU Curriculum and Syllabus. The department’s highly qualified, experienced, committed and dedicated faculty members guide students in areas such as Thermal, Design, and Manufacturing Engineering. The department has experienced technical Staff to support them.
