The function was Anchored by Ria Somani, 3rd Sem, CSE Dept. Student. The resource person was Dr. Sandeep N, Central University of Karnataka.  The Work shop on “MAT LAB” began at 11:30 AM by welcoming the gathering and introduction to the resource person by Dr. Sivasankar. An Invocation song was recited by Disha D, 3rd Sem, ECE Dept. Student. Convener for the workshop, Dr. Gangadharaiah Y H, HoD, Mathematics addressed that “The aim of workshop is to connect the basic studies done by the students and better understanding of them by visualizing and evaluating the same using a software platform and also exploring such software platforms will be very helpful for them in future to implement their innovative ideas”. Thereafter, Principal Dr. Jayapal R gave the presidential address. Then, followed by a fascinating session by the resource person on “MAT LAB”. He had discussed about Mat lab commends, functions, plotting curves, matrix technics. He had explained all these concepts very well with practical applications. It was overall an interesting, informative and interactive session. Students interacted well during the session. His session went on till 01:40 PM. At 01:50 PM, the function was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr. Nagabhushana P.
