The function was Anchored by Brundha R, 3rd Sem, ECE Dept. Student. The resource person was Mrs. Pratiksha Sawant, Data Scientist, USA.  The Technical Talk on “Math Behind Pricing”began at 09:00 AM by welcoming the gathering and introduction to the resource person by Dr.T. V. Smitha, Dept of Mathematics. An Invocation song was recited by Ms. PranatiEmpran, 3rd Sem, ISE Dept. Student. Thereafter, Principal Dr. Jayapal R gave the presidential address. Then, followed by a fascinating session by the resource person on “Math Behind Pricing”. She had discussed about Industries using Pricing Strategies,Product Lifecycle-Effective pricing decisions, Pricing Strategy, Price Elasticity, Linear Regression Model, Principal Component Analysis, Customer Segmentation, K-Mean Clustering, and Software &Technology used in Pricing. She had explained all these concepts very well with practical applications. It was overall an interesting, informative and interactive session. Students interacted well during the session. Her session went on till 09:50 AM. At 09:55 AM, the function was concluded by vote of thanks by Dr.Nagabhushana P,Dept of Mathematics, RVITM.
