Hands-On Workshop On DevOps and Software Testing with Selenium

Objective of the Program:

Selenium is a powerful and widely-used open-source tool for automating web browsers. This workshop is designed to equip students with the practical skills and knowledge to effectively leverage Selenium for automating web application testing.

  • To gain hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium and DevOps Concepts
  • Understand Types of Testing, Functional Testing: Validating that the software functions correctly according to specifications. Non-functional Testing: Checking aspects like performance, security, usability, and reliability. Regression Testing: Ensuring that recent code changes haven’t adversely affected existing functionalities.
  • Develop Automation in Test Cases: Automating repetitive and critical test cases to increase test coverage and efficiency. Create a Selenium with Java project in Eclipse.
  • Understanding DevOps: DevOps aims to increase the speed, efficiency, and quality of software development and delivery by fostering better collaboration and automation between development and operations teams.
