Project Exhibition started with a zeal on 27th April ,2023 with a total of 61 teams participating from 25 Engineering colleges across Bangalore. The event started at 9:30am with an invocation song followed by welcome address by Dr. C Solaimuthu, HOD(ME) and Dr. Latha C A HOD(ISE) briefed us about the event. The event had 3 categories-Mechanical, Electronics & Communication and IT stream. The Mechanical department had a total of 9 teams participating in which 2 teams won with project titled “Performance
Enhancement of Evacuated Tube Solar Collector “and Mechatronics (as a sub stream) project titled “SAM- A Humanoid Robot”. The Electronics department had a total of 16 teams participating in which 2 teams won with project titles “Underwater human body detection “ and “IOT & AI based Smart Helmet” .The judges for Electronics and Communication department were Dr. Usha Rani, Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering, RV College of
Engineering and Prashanth C B Senior staff software developer IBM. The IT department had 2 sub streams IT-A which had a total of 18 teams participating in which 2 teams won with project titled “Automated NLP Based Search System of Files” and” Categorizing grievances Through
voice input system” and IT-B which had a total of 18 teams participating in which 2 teams won with project titled “Project Astra” and” Ambulance detection in Traffic signals”. The judges for State Level Project Exhibition
IT-A were Dr. B M Sagar, Professor & Head, Department of Information Science and Engineering, RVCE and Krishnendru Mitra, Head of technology and management, Vayuvoy. The judges for IT-B were Dr Ramakanth Kumar P, Professor & Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, RV College of Engineering and Menahi Shayan, Senior Software Engineer, Zenduty, Co-Founder, Next Up. The winners bagged Rs.5000 and first runners-up bagged Rs.3000. The Valedictory event was held at 3pm and the certificates were awarded to all participants and winners.
